I’m joining Anne of In Residence with her monthly “Currently” link-up where we’re talking about what we’re currently…
snacking (on): anything chocolate. My latest favorite is Brookside chocolate covered blueberry candy.

anticipating: exploring our new home for the month. Continuing our tour of Florida, we just arrived at Patrick Air Force Base near Cocoa Beach, FL, so I’m looking forward to exploring the area. If you want to see what we did in Tampa, check it out here.
borrowing: Kindle books from the library. As you may know, I’m a kid at heart and love YA fiction. Right now I’m reading the first book in the Rebel Mechanics series.
admiring: Drivin and Vibin. This young couple is traveling around the country in their RV, and takes the most amazing photos! We’re working hard on our blog and YouTube channel, so I’m very impressed with their effort.
purchasing: nothing…well food I guess, but otherwise we’re enjoying experiences and not material possessions.

sterner warning, “Falling will cause injury or death.”

The trail to the waterfalls is marked as strenuous, but I think that is only referring to the bottom of the waterfall. The actual ¾ mile hike to the big falls is pretty easy. There are quite a few steps built into the trail, so it wouldn’t work with a wheelchair or for those with problems climbing steps, but it has a strong railing on most of the hike.

Finally I took the gravel road towards the parking lot, but detoured to the short Ridgetop Trail (only .2 miles), which provides views down the main canyon of Falling Water River.
