Campground
We once again visited our favorite private campground in Florida, LazyDays RV Resort. Located just off of Interstate 4, we consider this to be a gorgeous urban oasis! The campground has 300 level, paved RV sites with beautiful landscaping, full hook-ups (water, sewer, electric), Wi-Fi, cable TV, newspaper delivery, and trash pick-up.
Don’t have an RV? Don’t Worry! They’ve got you covered. Right at the campground they have onsite Fifth Wheel rentals. Or if you want to go exploring, you can choose from a number of RV rentals (Class A, B, and C’s, as well as travel trailers) from the LazyDays dealership right across the street.
Amenities
Not every campground that bills itself as a “resort” fits the bill—but this one sure does! They have a huge screened lanai with a heated pool and hot tub.
Adjacent to the pool deck is the Exit 10 restaurant and pub. It’s a one-of-a-kind RV-themed restaurant with casual cuisine. You can dine in, carry out, or order poolside from a walk-up window.
It may seem like a small thing to some, but I also love that you don’t need quarters for the large, clean laundry room. You can just swipe your credit card.
Activities
They have special activities throughout the year for young & old alike! There is an indoor gameroom, as well as horseshoes, cornhole, pickleball & tennis courts, basketball court, playground, bicycle rentals, and a fitness room.
Reservations / Deals
All sites are back-in and priced by size: 38’, 40’, 42’, and 45’. Click here to see seasonal specials. If you’re military (active or retired), don’t forget to ask for your 10% discount! You get breakfast and lunch included with the nightly rate. Or if your time is flexible, save even more on the monthly rate!
LazyDays RV Dealership
While you’re there, be sure to take the free trolley over to the RV dealership. Shop around for new RVs from what is billed as the World’s Largest RV Dealership with over 1,500 RVs on 126 acres. They also have a huge accessories/parts store and daily educational seminars on everything from cooking and organizing to towing. Click here to see the schedule.
