This is a convenient stop if you are traveling along Interstate 40 and would like to visit the Little Rock area or even just to get off the highway for a good night’s sleep.
The name, Downtown Riverside RV Park, says it all! Definitely more of an RV parking lot than campground, it is located in downtown North Little Rock, Arkansas right on the bank of the Arkansas River.
You won’t get fancy landscaping or swimming pools at this RV Park, but you can’t beat the location. Just minutes from I-40 with super easy access and plenty of pull-thru spots, we found it to be a great stopping point when we were traveling through.
In fact, after stopping for only one night on our way east, we made it a point to stay here for a few nights on our journey back west later in the year.
Bridge Across The River
One of the things we really liked about this RV park was direct access to a bridge across the Arkansas River. The former Rock Island Railroad Bridge, built in 1899, was renovated into a ramped pedestrian pathway that ends at the Clinton Presidential Library.
Adjacent to the library is the The William E. “Bill” Clark Presidential Park Wetlands, consisting of 13 acres of wetlands along the Arkansas River

That’s great! We stayed there a few weeks ago on our way down to Port Aransas Texas. It was quite pretty at night with the Christmas lights on the bridges.
Oh I bet the Christmas lights were pretty!
