I’m joining Anne of In Residence with her monthly “Currently” link-up where we’re talking about what we’re currently…
snacking (on): anything chocolate. My latest favorite is Brookside chocolate covered blueberry candy.

anticipating: exploring our new home for the month. Continuing our tour of Florida, we just arrived at Patrick Air Force Base near Cocoa Beach, FL, so I’m looking forward to exploring the area. If you want to see what we did in Tampa, check it out here.
borrowing: Kindle books from the library. As you may know, I’m a kid at heart and love YA fiction. Right now I’m reading the first book in the Rebel Mechanics series.
admiring: Drivin and Vibin. This young couple is traveling around the country in their RV, and takes the most amazing photos! We’re working hard on our blog and YouTube channel, so I’m very impressed with their effort.
purchasing: nothing…well food I guess, but otherwise we’re enjoying experiences and not material possessions.

I learned some valuable lessons during my kayaking trip down the Weeki Wachee River today. First let me just say that this is a nice calm ride. You can practically just float downstream, and just use your oar to steer periodically. Still, folks who know me will not be surprised to learn than I managed to flip my kayak. This was about 10 minutes after posting a Facebook Live video teasing my husband for having to work, while I was out having fun. I guess you could say it was Karma.
