We stayed a month at this amazing campground located just outside historic Fredericksburg, Texas on East US Highway 290. With RV and tent sites, as well as comfortable cottages, the Texas Wine Country Jellystone is the perfect destination for your next family vacation in Central Texas.
Campsites and Cottages
The campground has more than 70 full hook-up RV sites (pull-thru and back-in available). Each site has 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, a picnic table, and fire ring. They also have a range of cottages from one-room studio style to a two-bedroom park model with a full kitchen. Finally, each tent camping site includes its own water, 20amp electric & low-level lighting. Free WiFi is available throughout the campground & resort.

The park also boasts a General store, large TV lounge, and snack shack. And don’t forget your furry friends! This park has a large canine corral to let your dogs run around off leash.
Activities
You can’t deny that this is family friendly destination location when you see all the activities available here. Known for their recreation programs that include arts & crafts, scavenger hunts, and numerous games, you’ll often see Yogi Bear and Boo Boo join in the fun! You can also rent a bike or peddle kart or play a round of Mini Golf.
Local Area
While you are there, be sure to take some time to explore the local area. It is known Texas Wine Country for good reason. There are at least a dozen wineries and tasting rooms within a few miles of the campground. We took advantage of a couple unique opportunities to get a Bird’s Eye View of Texas Hill Country.
